Little Bit bout Gabby..

Raised in Oregon, first the beach, then Portland. Her songs reflect all the time spent around our beautiful state- one of those nature freaks. Optimistic Folk is her trade, writing songs to keep the day goin'-- which it always does. Lots of flatpicking, lots of intertwining melodies of the guitar and voice… and lots of smiles. Gabby brings great vibes onto the stage with her love for people and how music affects each and every one of us. Gabby has played shows and events throughout Portland, OR including Waterfront Park, Alberta Rose Theatre, Mt. Tabor Theatre, 94.7 Summer Concert Series at Streets of Tanasbourne, McMenamins' White Eagle and Rock Creek Tavern. More venues include, Oaks Park, Hawthorne Theatre, Ash St. Saloon, Insomnia Coffee, Mississippi Pizza Pub. Also Newport, OR's Mundo Cafe and McMenamins' Boons Treasury in Salem, OR. Gabby is thoroughly interested in the gathering of people to be in the here right NOW. She believes music, the outdoors, friends, faces, poetry, and whatever gets us to wake up in the morning- are all amazing gifts we can share with each other. Gabby has come up with the idea of an event she hosted, 'The Good Gather' Which includes story telling, music, poetry and artwork. The name conveys the idea in itself; the power of a gathering gives individuals a platform for expression and 'one-ness'-- which she believes is a good thing. 

Future goals include more songwriting, gathering, performing, recording, going on tour..  taking any and every gig.. anything to get the music to the people.
